Frequently Asked Questions
Q. How often should I use Disinfexstall in my horse stall?
A. Treatment frequency is determined by the surrounding environment and horse activity.
For example, if your horse travels and stays in a strange stall, you want to treat that stall and treat the trailer as well as the horse’s home stall when it returns. So, in that example several times in a few days.
Typically, in a home stall and without visiting horses from other owners, treatment can be once a week.
If you are housing new or unfamiliar horses, then it would be good to first treat the stall to house the new horses, and then twice a week for precautionary treatment or more depending on the circumstances.
Q. Unopened, how long will Disinfexstall last ?
Q. Once opened, how long will Disinfexstall last?
A. 90 Days.
Q. What are some of the benefits of Disinfexstall?
A. Disinfexstall provides five important benefits to horse and stable owners when it comes to establishing and maintaining a healthy stall environment:
1. Disinfexstall application technology sprays the Disinfexstall chemistry into the porous surfaces where it can reach and kill pathogens.
2. Disinfexstall is not toxic like other disinfectants and does not require any wash off. In fact, we want the chemistry to absorb and remain and keep working. You do not need to wear a mask to apply Disinfexstall. It is safe to use.
3. Treatment can be done typically in 90 seconds—not a lot of effort for a big result.
4. If during application some overspray touches a horse feed, water or surface and is touched, eaten, or drunk by the horse, it is safe. Horses can remain safely in an adjoining stall during treatment. Strange or visiting horses are a source of concern. Disinfexstall can help reduce such risks.
5. Our dedication to your horse’s health and your experience with our company is long lasting. Together we can make a difference for a healthier and safer horse environment.
